After more than a year of inactivity due to the pandemic, our Scientific Director, Dr. Efthymios Kouloulas, Physiatrist and Pain Medicine Specialist, returned to international scientific activity with his participation as an invited speaker at the 6th European Hand Injury Prevention Congress.
Following the honorary invitation of Professor Zoe Dailiana, Orthopedic Surgeon, he delivered a lecture on the highly interesting topic:
“Hand CRPS and Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation”.
With the participation of distinguished experts from across Europe, a high-level scientific program, and flawless organization, the 6th European Hand Injury Prevention Congress took place this year in Skiathos, on September 3–4, 2021, at Bourtzi, under the presidency of Professor Zoe Dailiana.
The congress was one of the most important scientific events of the year, bringing together hand surgeons, orthopedic specialists, physiatrists, plastic surgeons, occupational physicians, general practitioners, and scientists committed to the prevention of upper limb injuries. It served as a key opportunity for scientific exchange in a year with limited events due to COVID-19.
The congress was held under the auspices of the European Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH), the European Hand Injury Committee, and the Municipality of Skiathos, with the support of the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, the Hellenic Society for Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity, the Medical Association of Larissa, the University of Thessaly, and the Region of Thessaly.
