With great emotion, our Unit’s Scientific Director, Dr. Efthymios Kouloulas, received an honorary award from the President of the Hellenic Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Konstantina Petropoulou, and the Honorary President, Dr. Xanthi Michail, for his success in the highly demanding European Pain Federation (EFIC) examinations, achieving the European Diploma in Pain Medicine – becoming the first Greek physician, regardless of specialty, to obtain this prestigious certification.
The modest award ceremony followed the exceptional Scientific Conference titled “Neuropathic Pain: The Role of Rehabilitation Medicine”, where Dr. Efthymios Kouloulas was also an invited speaker. The event took place at the “Rigas Feraios” auditorium of the War Museum in Athens.
